Here at Techxel we are very pleased with the software Been There Done That.
We just love it. It has allowed our technician to keep track of the work done on all computers. We hope that Dband sons continue to upgrade the application.

AccessAble Help Desk is one of the best help desk tracking packages that my company has used (and at a great price, too). It's ease of use and broad range of features make AccessAble Help Desk the best we have used to date. I have already recommended it to many associates and they love it as well.

Thank you so much! I really like this program. I am the Site Administrator (System's Analyst) for the Aging office in Northumberland County. We have a small office - about 40 people. I can't believe how hard it was, until now, to keep track of everything. You've made my job so much easier!
-Margo Muchinsky, Systems Analyst

Several years ago we purchased Church Office Professional and had come to rely on it's stability, efficiency and accuracy. Recently we upgraded our computer and software. We soon discovered the Access 97 database would not open in Access 2003. This was very disappointing, so we promptly contacted Dennis Baggott. We were surprised and impressed with the promptness of his replies! We communicated back and forth via email for approximately 1 week and with Dennis' help, guidance, assistance and caring are now back to being fully functional.

We are extremely pleased with the product and greatly impressed with the technical support we have received.

We here in the IT Dept at Vanguard University are very pleased with Problem Solved! The software has lived up to its name by allowing our techs to be able to access their tasks remotely, a problem we've had for some time. Problem Solved is simple to setup and even simpler to use. Add to that our appreciation for the excellent customer support we've received. We used to have so much trouble managing our tasks---not anymore---Problem Solved!

Thanks again so much Dennis.... your support is unrivaled. The money I spent on your product has been one of the best investments for our IT department - both for quality and support -and you can quote me on that.

The Leeds office of DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary (UK) LLP have now been using Quad Pro 2.0 Helpdesk in our facilities department for 3 months. During that time it is has already proved a valuable tool in organising the team, prioritising workloads and monitoring performance throughout the department's operations. The reports produced directly from Quad have been used by HR, Health and Safety and included in the monthly reports to higher management.
The helpdesk itself is clear, easy to use and easy to adapt to the needs of our department and provides us with a straightforward method of tracing accountability and setting / assessing service level agreements.

I work for a School District in New Hampshire and we purchased the Accessable Help Desk Pro software about a year ago. This software has proven to be invaluable to the development of our department! The technical support and customer service that Dennis provides far exceeds my expectations! When you send a request for help, he answers you in a timely manner. His emails are clear and easy to understand. I would recommended this software to anyone who is looking for a product that is affordable and simple to use and implement . Thank you so much for all of your time and hard work!

New Web Pages for AccessAble Help Desk Pro - Sunday, April 15, 2012
I have been side tracked for quite some time lately, customizing web pages for a new customer for one thing. I will be uploading a new web interface for AccessAble Help Desk Pro Edition by April 19th and then I will be making the new web pages available for free to licensed users of the AccessAble Help Desk Pro Edition.

I will then be back to finishing a video of a new external Report Writer tool for licensed owners of AccessAble Help Desk Pro Edition and Client Server Edition. The new Report Writing software will work with either/both versions.

Finally, I will be back to completing Proactive Customer Support 2012.

So hang in there with me and I hope you will like the results.

  Proactive Customer Support 2012
Proacitve Customer Suport 2012 is in development. Unlike earlier versions, the new release will use Microsoft SQL Server as the backend database instead of a Microsoft Access .mdb file. In addition to a desktop application, PCS 2012 will include a web based front end with automatic support for mobile devices (smart phones). Unlike QUAD Help Desk which is aimed primarily at internal customers PCS 2012 is suitable for those that may support customers via the Internet. Customers will be able to create their own accounts, submit requests and view the status of their requests. Staff may use the desktop or browser to update customer information and support requests. Staff will also be able to import data using their standard web browser. NOTE: The web interface works fine on tablet's like Apple's IPAD however, importing of data via the IPAD browser is not supported. We are excited about this new version of an old favorite for those with generic customer support needs. Check back often as we provide more information on Proactive Customer Support 2012. You can try the web interface at http://www.dennisbaggott.biz/pcs

QUAD Help Desk 2011 - release is days away - Monday, November 28, 2011
I had seriously thought our newest help desk/customer support application would have been ready for release by now, but I have continued testing how the web pages would work on mobile devices such as the Apple Ipad and Iphone. I have not yet done in testing on an Android based device but may go ahead and release the new application without it. QUAD Help Desk 2011 will be introduced with a very low introduction price of $123.00 - easy as 1-2-3. QUAD Help Desk 2011 consists of a Microsoft Winddows based desktop application for easily recording updating and reporting on customer support requests. Perfect for a single user, but also mutli-user ready at no additional cost. The windows based application includes user based security so a staff of customer support people can update their own assigned requests while the manager can assign work and see the status of all requests. A mini web server is included for the same price which does not require a webmaster or database administrator. The web server can run on the same coimputer as the deskotp app and allow users on your local area network to submit support requests from their browser (or if their mobile device connects wirelessly to your LAN) or IPAD or IPHONE. At the same time, using a hard coded (but changeable) user name and password you and your staff can also use the browser to update requests. Pretty cool, right? The price will stay at $123 at least until 2012 - but you can't buy a site license yet. Hold on just a few more days. Did I mention that the site license will let multiple departments use the desktop and browser applications without paying extra? I don't believe you will find a better deal anywhere. Check back for the pending release. Beta tester reports have been good.   read more...
New Program Launch Soon! - Sunday, October 30, 2011
I am very close to releasing a new/updated help desk program - generic use, not IT specific. Most recently I have been testing the web interface on Ipad/Iphone as well as standard web browsers. The program comes with a multi user standard windows desktop application and a simple web server (don't be scared - you don't need to know anything special to run the web server). More information to come on this site as well as http://www.dbandsons.net and other web sites soon.
Teacher's Journal 2010 - Now Available - Wednesday, December 08, 2010
Teacher's Journal 2010 is now available. This version is quite different that TJ 2005 and includes user and procedure security, among many other new changes. You can download the new version by clicking the Read More link to this announcement. Price changes are coming soon, but I wanted those who had been waiting to try the new version to be able to grab the latest release now. Also, I will be leaving the prior version of Teacher's Journal on the site. A free version upgrade, licensed users can, for a limited time, have both versions for the same price.   read more...
Teacher's Journal 2010 - almost complete - Thursday, October 07, 2010
I have been updating our newer site - http://www.dbandsons.net - more often than this web site. However, I wanted to let those teachers who are anxiously awaiting the next version of Teacher's Journal that the next release will be available soon. Stay tuned.
New Web Site - and New Church Secretary for Windows! - Sunday, August 22, 2010
I have just uploaded the latest version of Church Secretary for Windows. Version 2010 is available now. Also, I would like to take the occasion of CSW version 2010's release to announce our newest web site Dbandsons.net The new web site has a different format than dbandsons.com - or any of our other web sites. I believe you will find it easy to navigate, and I believe I will find it easy to update and maintain. Check it out by clicking the Read More link for this announcement.   read more...
Church Secretary 2010 - Thursday, August 05, 2010
I will be releasing a new version of Church Secretary for Windows this month and will be going to "year" style version information. Instead of Church Secretary for Windows 9 the next release will be Church Secretary for Windows 2010. There are several changes to the database structure in this release so current users would need to first export, then import data from prior versions. The new release will include integrated charts for Contributions and Attendance - so no need to use a third party program to create simple graphs of your data. Also, images of family members will now be in the database itself, rather than a separate file. The Report Builder feature has also been improved and will allow for saving reports in RTF (Rich Text Format) in addition to PDF (Portable Document Format). Other changes are cosmetic and this version is doing away with the login and procedure security feature that seemed not to be popular. Version upgrades will continue to be free to licensed users but a new "registration key" will be needed. Watch this site for more information.

The Only Constant is Change! - Sunday, March 21, 2010
The last few months have been very busy both personally and professionally and have required a lot of change. On the same topic of change I have continued to accept suggestions from users for the next version of AccessAble Help Desk Pro Edition. The addition or subtraction of a single field has a ripple affect. Changes to the database require changes to the database dictionary, windows application, web interface, and documentation. Most recently I have made changes to incorporatd some ITIL information - and this may continue. Now, I have to decide how far to go in this version, and what to save for the next. Anyway, having recently released a new version of Church Secretary for Windows (8.1) I am back to trying to finalize AAHD Pro Edition and get the first betas released. More news to follow - check back periodically.
AccessAble Help Desk 2010 Update - Thursday, January 21, 2010
Just a note for current users of AccessAble Help Desk who are writing about the next version. I am still some weeks away from the Beta tests that will open to licensed users. I have made additional structural changes to the database including elimination of fields some have told us they don't use. We always hope each new version of one of our programs was better than the last. Version upgrades are free to licensed users. However, if you like the currently available editions of the AccessAble Help Desk you may want to place your order soon.
Problem Solved! 2007 - did you miss it? - Wednesday, October 14, 2009
I recently had emails from customers who had been using earlier versions of Problem Solved! - one of our earliest help desk programs with an integrated web server. In the process of replying to their emails I realized current download links are still pointing to version 2006. You can download a fully functional 30 day trial version of Problem Solved! 2007 at http://www.dbandsons.com/ps2007.zip or click the read more link for this announcement.   read more...
Update on Church Secretary 8.0 - Wednesday, October 14, 2009
It has been a very busy summer, but unfortunately I have not completed the software updates I had planned. The most important update to CSW 8.0 is the addition of user and procedure security (logins). This may be helpful whether you have a small network at your church or more than one user sharing the same computer. CSW 8.0 is back and track and may be publicly released before the end of October. If you are a licenced user write me for a preview. Please check back ofen for news on this upgrade to our most popular program for church staff administration.
Church Secretary 8.0 Coming Soon - Friday, May 22, 2009 - Friday, May 22, 2009
I have been doing mostly custom development work for the last year or so, however, I am now getting back to upgrading many of our existing programs. Church Secretary for Windows 8.0 will be released soon and it has a new look and the addition of easy to use security features. Whether you are using the program on a single computer with multiple users or on a Local Area Network, you will be able to limit what screens a logged in user can use. This new version will be a free upgrade to licensed owners of CSW but pricing of the next version is not yet decided. If interested in more information on this new version, write to me at dbandsons@aol.com   read more...

Updated Shut Up and Reboot! 2006 - with Web Server - Saturday, November 25, 2006
I have just posted an updated version of Shut Up and Reboot! 2006 which includes a new optional web server.  This release includes a fix to importing of user email and mailing addresses as well as a few other minor changes to the windows app.  I am also using a new installer and if all goes well I may begin including live update capabilities in my software.  This would mean registered users would not need to wait on a newsletter or check the web site (or email me) to find out about new releases.  Unlike more sophisticated web applications, such as in the AccessAble Help Desk programs, the new web server is easy to install and use.  Check it out. The download is now larger as the .zip file includes setups for both the windows app and web interface and manuals in PDF format.

Problem Solved! 2006 now Available - Sunday, October 15, 2006
I have just released Problem Solved! 2006 and hope it will continue to be selected by many organizations to support their IT Help Desk needs.  Ideal for the smaller organizations that want an affordable, multi-user help desk solution that won't bust their budget.  The mini http server makes it possible for end users to submit support requests via browser - and since there are no file permissions to set up, web enabling the help desk can be a real "no brainer" with Problem Solved!.  If you need more powerful web features, check out AccessAble Help Desk Pro Edition.  If your needs are basic, your problems may be solved with Problem Solved! 2006.

Lesson Planner Plus 2006 - Single User License Added
Although I believe the school license price for the new Lesson Planner Plus 2006 was very reasonable, I had forgotten about home schoolers until I received an email from Vicki in Austrialia this weekend.  This email reminded me that LPP has been popular with home schoolers and so the school license was really not a good deal for them.  So I have now added a $29 single teacher license for Lesson Planner Plus 2006.

Lesson Planner Plus 2006 - Now Available - Sunday, June 18, 2006
